O’Nealgas offers a plan in which you are billed a fixed amount on a monthly basis.

To be eligible, you must first have a $0 balance and be an O’Nealgas customer for at least 24 months prior to the sign-up date. Your estimated monthly payment will be calculated by taking the average of your past two years’ propane usage and multiplying it by what we estimate as an average price for the next year then dividing that total by 12 months or 11 months if you sign up after April 25th. That amount will be your monthly Budget Billing amount. Tank rent and sales tax is included.

Budget Billing sign-up is only available from April 1st-May 31st. After making your calculated monthly payment for one year, your account will be evaluated the next April. If the cost is more than was estimated, then you will owe the difference in the balance. However, if the cost is less than anticipated, then you will receive a credit for the balance.
